Anonymous information of this kind may be statistically evaluated by us to optimize our website and the underlying technology.
§ 3 Information about cookies
We use cookies to optimize our website. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet. This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer as part of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. In no case will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or a link to personal data be established without your consent. § 4 Web analysis with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The purposes of data processing are the evaluation of the use of the website and the compilation of reports on activities on the website. Further related services will then be provided based on the use of the website and the internet. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent the collection by Google Analytics for this website and for this browser in the future, as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
§ 5 Registration and contact forms on our website
When registering for an order or using the contact forms, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data like telephone number and email address. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and handling your inquiries. If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data provided during registration at any time if necessary. Of course, we will also provide you with information about the personal data stored by us about you at any time. We will gladly correct or delete this data at your request, as long as there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary. To contact us in this regard, please use the contact details provided at the end of this privacy policy.
§ 6 Data transfer to shipping service providers and payment services
For the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company selected by you in the ordering process, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. If an external payment service, such as PayPal, is selected by you for payment processing, we only pass on the necessary and previously entered data to the credit institution or to the payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the order process. The respective privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies.
§ 7 Purchase on account
When purchasing on account, we pass on part of your data provided during the registration process to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. Please find information on data protection of PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. here:
https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full?locale.x=de_DE
§ 8 Email Newsletter
Based on your expressly given consent, we regularly send you our newsletter or comparable information by email to your specified email address.
To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide your email address. When registering for our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by email about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (e.g. changes to the newsletter offer or technical circumstances).
We use the services of Mailchimp LLC to send our newsletters. By registering for our newsletter, you consent to your email address being processed there on our behalf for the purpose of sending newsletters. Information on Mailchimp LLC's data protection can be found here:
https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
For effective registration, we need a valid email address. To verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the requested response. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.
You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for newsletter dispatch at any time. A corresponding link can be found in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly on this website at any time or inform us of your wish via the following email address:

§ 9 SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
§ 10 Trusted Shops Trustbadge
The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any collected ratings, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products for buyers after an order.
This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our offer in the context of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.
When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your page visit.
Further personal data is only transferred to Trusted Shops if you have consented to this, decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order, or have already registered for use. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.
§ 11 Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the map functions by visitors. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the data protection center.
Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here:

§ 12 Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites, we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.
Anyone who has deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.
Further information on data protection at "YouTube" can be found in the provider's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
§ 13 Changes to our data protection regulations
We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection declaration will then apply for your renewed visit.
