Trap x ESWB “ZACK”
The first pieces on the Stieg. Zack casually sits on a bench at Jungfernstieg and shows his piece, a little hidden. A few spray cans are still lying on the ground - the "tools of the trade" from the night before.
"Jerk and I wanted to bomb the city," recalls Zack, who together with his crew The Magnificent Crowns (TMC) was among the absolute kings of the city. "We started at the S-Bahn station Sternschanze and moved towards Dammtor."
The idea to paint at the Alster landing stage came to them spontaneously - and even the sudden rain couldn't stop them. Jerk, who at the time was not only a writer but also a skater, often spent afternoons at the Alster landing stage, a meeting point for skaters and BMX riders.
For Zack, who wasn't a skater, the place held no special memories. "For me it was simply just a great spot."
What the two of them didn't know at the time: only one year later, in 1988, the Alster landing stage would become the central "corner" of Hamburg's graffiti scene. Once again Zack and Jerk were ahead of their time in Hamburg graffiti culture.
"Early the next morning we went back to the Alster landing stage to take photos," Zack recalls. Just like the famous Cisco train in Bergedorf the year before, it was Jerk who captured the historical photo using his mother's SLR camera.
The deck features the ZACK artwork with additional top graphic and comes with a sticker and a 4-page A5 artist booklet.
